Wedding Planning 101

Wedding planning is often surrounded by chaos, however, it doesn’t always have to be. If you have some good advice, and follow some key tips, you can make the process enjoyable and maybe even fun.

First, it is important to pick, and settle on a theme. Once you have an overall picture of what you want, for example, a beach wedding, everything will fall into place. Suddenly it will be obvious exactly what flowers you need, exactly what the bridesmaid dresses should look like. This will make the entire planning process very easy.

Second, be sure you are coordinating. When you meet with your baker, be sure you have notes from your bridesmaid dress designer, or an example of your invitations. This helps bring everything together down to the last detail.

Third, don’t be afraid to go custom made! You can integrate your personality in every detail of your wedding. Ignore store bought items, and have something hand made with something personalized, such as your wedding date or initials, to bring extra meaning to your big day.

Fourth, be original! Everyone loves roses, but don’t you want something more meaningful for your wedding? Think of what has a good memory attached to it, and integrate these details.
