Groom Advice

If you are a soon to be Groom, you may be looking for some good advice on how to handle all of the pre wedding chaos. Here are some good tips for the groom.

- Be sure you make your input heard. The bride often takes care of most of the wedding planning, and often she enjoys it. However, it is your big day as much as it is hers, so you should have an opinion on all of the details. If you prefer a certain band, or a specific venue, be sure you speak up.

- Help out where you can. If she insists on doing all of the planning, then help her relax after a day of stress. You may not be confident in picking a wedding palette or the bouquets, but you can cook her dinner and let he unwind at home. It will mean more to her than trying to help where you’d rather not be involved.

- Take control of the Groomsmen situation. Be as involved as you can, such as giving them info on where to get their tuxes, and any information they need on their attire and roles in the wedding. And be sure you deal out responsibilities to those whom are able.
