Choosing your bridesmaids is an important decision that takes time and much consideration. You should put the same amount of time in to choosing their dresses! Here are some crucial points you should consider before settling on the attire for your bridesmaids.

1) Consider that each of your bridesmaids is different. As much in personality as in body type. Their complexion and frame will probably vary greatly, which means the dress that looks great on one, won’t suit the other. Consider having different cuts, shades and styles for each dress, rather than a uniform look for all of them. Keeping them all in the same palette is what counts, but let them have the freedom to choose strapless, halter, or the hem of their dress.

2) Also be sure you are taking into account the cost. It is tradition that the bridesmaids pay for their own dresses, so be sure it is within everyone’s budget.

3) Be sure that your bridesmaids compliment you. Your dress is the focal point, so use your bridesmaid’s attire to accentuate the attributes of your gown.

4) Consider the comfort of your maids as well. Be sure its a design that is both flattering and easy to wear, for their sake!
